Candidates sought for a 650-plus community that loves integrated and well-crafted liturgy and is committed to a historical and highly participatory worship style promoting congregational involvement, integrating the arts into the worship experience, and embracing diversity, social inclusion and activism. Should have proven leadership abilities, be able to supervise music and arts programs for all ages, demonstrate a collegial attitude with staff and church committees, be able to attract and train singers, and have a commitment to the life and work of the church and to the mission of Northaven United Methodist Church.
Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Music or Music Education degree
Master of Sacred Music degree preferred
Functional keyboard skills
Experience leading choral and instrumental music in worship.
Base salary plus pension and insurance provided.
